The kitchen has all you need to cook up a feast and keep your drinks cold with all new appliances including induction cooktop, oven, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The breakfast bar has four stools and the dining table has room for six with plenty of space for home cooked meals, board games and cards. The main bedroom with queen bed has a beautiful ensuite, builtin wardrobe, desk and plenty of space to spread out. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, builtin wardrobe and desk. Bedroom 3 has a double bed, shelf and hanging rack. Each room has multiple power points, side tables and bedside lamps. Relaxing colour palette in the bathrooms with rain shower heads and complimentary toiletries. European laundry with front load washing machine, pegs and laundry detergent provided. There is a fire pit in the backyard. Guests must provide their own wood, multiple local service stations sell this nearby. If you feel like venturing out, on the doorstep of Islington Common is Beaumont Street's foodie hub, Islington's eclectic vintage and retro stores, and Hamilton Station offering a quick commute to the transport interchange or a fuss-free trip to Sydney. The property is in a quiet neighbourhood. Please respect those around us and ensure you do not cause any loud noise or music. We have permanent neighbours nearby and must ensure this rule is adhered to. We do not accept bookings for any parties, schoolies, hens or bucks celebrations. A responsible adult must be in attendance at all bookings. No additional visitors beyond those on the booking are allowed onto the property at anytime. Please take all your rubbish to outside bins in sealed bags before you check out. Please be courteous to our cleaners and leave the house in a reasonable state. All damages must be paid for. We are bound by the NSW government Code of Conduct for the Short-term Rental Accommodation Industry and as a guest, you are required to abide by these laws. These regulations outline behaviour standards which include ensuring noise does not disturb neighbours, your responsibility for any damage caused to the property and your responsibility for the behaviour of any other guests in your group

Islington Common is located in a gentrifying, city fringe neighborhood in Newcastle. The cafes, restaurants and bars, unique architecture and rich history stretch from the city to the suburbs. Surrounded by golden sand beaches, a breathtaking coastline and a beautiful working harbour. This funky part of Newcastle attracts people of all ages and has a wonderful sense of community with its second hand and antique stores scattered throughout the colourful area. One of our favourites is @hide_and_seeker with high quality original vintage and custom made leather. Another favourite is Cake Boi (@cakeboinewy) run by a MasterChef fav. Newcastle has so much to offer with an abundance of nature and so many natural beauties to explore. For walking trails, picnics and up-close-and-personal animal experiences check out Blackbutt Reseve, Richely Reserve and Hunter Wetlands. Additionally, just 20 minutes away is the Glenrock State Conservation Area which is popular with mountain bikers and it is the perfect place to unwind and explore the bush trails that lead to Glenrock Lagoon and Burwood Beach, take your time and check out the lookouts and viewing platforms to get some epic photos. Fun Fact! Newcastle Harbour is the oldest export port in Australia. As well as being a working harbor there is also a variety of cruising and boating experiences, from a leisurely afternoon on the water with a glass of wine, to more high-octane adrenalin-fuelled fun. You can also catch a ferry to Stockton and explore the shipwreck walk, while keeping your eyes peeled on the headland for the active Nobbys Lighthouse.
