Welcome to Lambton Park Cottage. A beautifully styled early 1900's cottage only a stones throw from popular Lambton Village's cafes, restaurants, theatre, bars and pubs. Only a few minutes drive from John Hunter Hospital. Full of old world charm the cottage has beautiful timber floors and features throughout.

Good to know

Sleeping six guests across three bedrooms and two bathrooms, the cottage has enough room for your whole group or family. There are two queen bedrooms, main with ensuite and a twin room with two single beds. All linen is provided including towels. Large eat in kitchen, seperate dining and lounge room with ducted air conditioning throughout. There are two very functional bathrooms and a full laundry with washing machine and dryer. The property is in a quiet neighbourhood. Please respect those around us and ensure you do not cause any loud noise or music. We have permanent neighbours nearby and must ensure this rule is adhered to. We do not accept bookings for any parties, schoolies, hens or bucks celebrations. A responsible adult must be in attendance at all bookings. No additional visitors beyond those on the booking are allowed onto the property at anytime. Please take all your rubbish to outside bins in sealed bags before you check out. Please be courteous to our cleaners and leave the house in a reasonable state. All damages must be paid for. We are bound by the NSW government Code of Conduct for the Short-term Rental Accommodation Industry and as a guest, you are required to abide by these laws. These regulations outline behaviour standards which include ensuring noise does not disturb neighbours, your responsibility for any damage caused to the property and your responsibility for the behaviour of any other guests in your group

A two hour drive north of Sydney, Newcastle is Australia’s second oldest city known around the world for its beautiful beaches, laid back attitudes and as being the heart of the Hunter Valley, which is picturesque country with amazing wineries. Lambton is one of Newcastle’s most central and desirable suburbs. It is a brief trip to the major shopping centres, entertainment venues, major business districts or the gorgeous beaches, with readily available public transport. Lambton Park Cottage has easy access to local rail stations, local airport and the port of Newcastle. One of Australia’s most prestigious music venues, Lizotte’s Newcastle, is within walking distance, as are local stores and Lambton Park. We are also minutes from McDonald Jones Stadium & Hockey centre for major sporting events and Newcastle Entertainment Centre. It is also particularly close to the major hospitals (John Hunter Hospital) and the University of Newcastle.

The house was beautiful inside and out. It was very clean, and the washing machine and dryer inside was very helpful. The house was also very secure and we felt very safe in the neighbourhood. It only being a couple of blocks from the Lambton Main Street and the gorgeous park meant that everything we needed was within walking distance! There are even various herbs for cooking in the pots in the front and back yard as well! Carly and Katie were very communicative, and they made us feel very welcomed in a tough time for my family. I would recommend this house to anyone and I cannot thank the hosts enough for not only communicating well and providing clear instructions, but for making their house feel like a home.
