You’ll be staying in Newcastle’s vibrant city centre, where everything is at your doorstep. Take the 5 minute walk to the harbour, or enjoy the beach in just 10 minutes! Explore nearby shops, cafes, and restaurants, or take a scenic stroll along the waterfront. Newcastle’s buzzing energy and coastal charm await you. Best Bits - Comfortable queen bedroom with high-quality linen - Sofa bed in the lounge, perfect for a third guest - Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need: oven, stove, dishwasher, and cooking essentials - Bathroom with shower, washing machine, and dryer for your convenience - All towels, beach towels, soaps, and cleaning basics provided - Free WiFi to stay connected - Shared rooftop terrace with views of Newcastle Harbour - Bike storage available in the basement. Bring your own lock. - Easy access to the apartment via lift - Not suitable for mobile babies and toddlers. Newborns and children over 5 are allowed. While we don’t have a dedicated parking space, street parking is free overnight and on weekends. Monday to Friday, it’s $5.50 per hour. If you’d prefer, there’s free all day parking available on the hill above the CBD, a 10-min walk away. The Crown Street light rail stop is also close by and buses go past the property on their way in and out of the CBD, making it easy to explore the city without a car. House Rules

The property is in a quiet building. Please respect those around us and ensure you do not cause any loud noise or music. We have permanent neighbours nearby and must ensure this rule is adhered to. We do not accept bookings for any parties, schoolies, hens or bucks celebrations. A responsible adult must be in attendance at all bookings. No additional visitors beyond those on the booking are allowed onto the property at anytime. Please take all your rubbish to outside bins in sealed bags before you check out. Please be courteous to our cleaners and leave the house in a reasonable state. All damages must be paid for. We are bound by the NSW government Code of Conduct for the Short-term Rental Accommodation Industry and as a guest, you are required to abide by these laws. These regulations outline behaviour standards which include ensuring noise does not disturb neighbours, your responsibility for any damage caused to the property and your responsibility for the behaviour of any other guests in your group.

Guest Access

Guests have access to the entire one bedroom apartment, which includes a living room, kitchen, bathroom with laundry and bedroom. Guests can also relax on the 5th-floor rooftop, featuring lounges and seating. We kindly ask you to respect our neighbours by keeping the area clean and minimising noise. Check in anytime after 3pm with easy self-check-in, making arrival super simple and flexible.

Beautiful place, very close to restaurants and the beach. The apartment itself has everything you would need for a home away from home. It is absolutely spotless with clean sheets and towels. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, pots and pans. Wollies is across the street which makes shopping super easy. We had a rental EV, and there is an AC @11kW charging station (Chargefox) about 300m from the apartment (max. stay of 4hrs paid parking). Carpark space is at a premium in Newcastle, so be prepared to pay $5+ per hour, Monday to Friday (9am and 5pm). There is free parking as indicated in the apartment description (about 800m to 1km away) - but be ready for a heart-pumping workout, as there are steep hills to climb to get to it (I would not recommend it if you have heart issues (like me), or are generally unfit). There is also fierce competition for those free parking spaces, as there is with the paid parking spaces. So be prepared to circle the block a few times.

I had a great stay at the Irelands. It was very cosy, clean and felt like a home away from home. I definitely recommend for a stay in Newcastle. It’s super close to shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach.
