Wave is all about the outlook. The ocean is visible from every window, and the light through the apartment shifts with the day, from sunrise over the water to the last of the afternoon sun on the sand. We call it a 2.5 bedroom because the third sleeping space is a little different. The main bedroom has a king bed and the second has a double, both with blinds. The half room is an open space off the kitchen with a king single, no door and a skylight above, so it is best suited to children or early risers who are happy to wake with the sun. For families it works beautifully. For three couples, it will not. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking at home with European appliances, and the living space is set up for slow mornings and long afternoons after the beach. Quality linen, towels and beach towels are all provided, along with kitchen basics & cleaning products. Parking is in the building carpark on a first come first served basis, with free street parking out the front as a back up or for a second car. Step outside and you are straight onto the Bathers Way coastal walk. Dixon Park Beach is directly across the road, with Merewether Beach, the Merewether Ocean Baths and Bar Beach all an easy walk in either direction. Cafes, bars and the surf club are close by.
